Israel Flag Football Olympic Summer Training Program

Olympic-level flag football training, covering offense, defense, scouting, play-calling, analytics, athletic development, and game management.
The Onward program also includes Shabbaton weekends, educational days, and group activities for a well-rounded experience on and off the field.
Most sessions will be on the field and some may be on Zoom.

Through intensive training in football analytics, athletic development, and game management, participants will sharpen their flag football skills and gain the unique opportunity to try out for the Israel National Flag Football Team.

The program fee includes housing in Jerusalem (likely a single bedroom in a shared apartment or hotel), access to a co-working space, weekly tours and seminars in Israel, educational programming,
Shabbat programming, basic medical insurance, and ground transportation within Jerusalem. Participants will also be required to submit a $400 participation & security deposit. Deposits will be refunded at the end of the program based on good standing.

*Participants are encouraged to purchase flights with a good refund policy or flight insurance. Birthright Israel Onward is not responsible for the cost of flights should the program be cancelled. Note, participants will be given their expected address approximately two weeks before the program begins, if not earlier.
*Scholarships to help offset the program cost may be available for those who need additional assistance and meet Onward’s eligibility criteria. For more information, contact Birthright Israel Onward or your local partner professional.

Participants MUST be available to participate for the entire length of the program.

Identify as Jewish.

Applicants must NOT have spent 3 or more consecutive months in Israel after high school, or participated in a Birthright Israel Onward program or any other mid-term or long-term educational program in Israel.

Fluent in English.

Have a valid Passport for at least 6 months after the program end date.
