About Micah Siva
Founder of Nosh with Micah, leader of the Foodies Volunteer Trip in Israel
Micah is an award-winning cookbook author specializing in Modern Jewish Cuisine. Her cookbook, Nosh: Plant-Forward Recipes Celebrating Modern Jewish Cuisine. Her love for food started in her Grandmother's kitchen filled with the aromas of freshly baked challah and bubbling soups. Growing up Jewish in Canada, food was never just about nourishment –it was connection, tradition, and a way to bring people together, Today, Micah brings those stories to life through recipe development, food photography, and content creation.
Micah's love for Israel and Israeli cuisine started at a young age, and she falls in love with Israel more every time she visits. Her favorite pastime is visiting markets, grocery stores, and finding the best chocolate shops in new places and meeting local chefs and food producers.
