Where Do You Sleep on Birthright?

The million dollar question everyone wants to know when coming on a Birthright Israel trip - where will I be sleeping?


It’s a good question, and an important one; especially knowing you’ll be moving around quite a bit during the day and want a comfy, clean pillow to rest your head on at the end of it!

The reality is that every trip is different, and where you sleep depends on the season and availability of accommodations.

No matter the trip, we will always do our absolute best to find the most comfortable and location-friendly places for you to rest your head after a long day of activities.

1. Abraham Hostel (Tel Aviv)


With an exquisitely central location, the Abraham Hostel is sure to please anyone eager to bask in the buzz of Tel Aviv. Its location is prime to experience the sights and sounds of the city including cute cafés, bars, and cultural attractions, and a quick 15-20 minute stroll to the beach and Jaffa.


2. Grand Court Hotel (Jerusalem)


The 4-star Grand Court Hotel is located less than a half-hour walking from Jerusalem's old city, including famous cultural attractions and historic sites. This stunning hotel is a fantastic home base from which to take advantage of all that the Holy City has available!



3. Kibbutz Manara (Upper Galilee)


Kibbutz Manara is located in Israel's North, specifically in the Upper Galilee which is not far from the border with Lebanon. Its main industries include agriculture, a technical glass manufacturing plant, and tourism to the scenic cliffs via its cable cars descending to the nearby Kiryat Shmona.



4. Kfar Hanokdim - Bedouin Tents (Judean Desert)


Nestled in the Kanaim Valley of the Judean desert, not so far from Masada, there exists a green oasis called Kfar Hanokdim. The jaw-dropping desert resort features Bedouin-style tents and has plenty of spots to relax among palm trees and immerse yourself in nature.


5. Kibbutz Degania (Southern Galilee)


During your stay in Israel you may likely be Interested in getting to experience a Kibbutz. Located in Israel's north at 200 meters below sea level, Degania's guest house is the ideal location for you to visit a working kibbutz in a gorgeous, green area of Israel.
