Trip Dates: May 4th–13th
Flight Options:
Anyone traveling from North America will be departing from JFK the afternoon of May 4th and landing back at JFK early morning of May 14th
(flight extensions available upon request/availability).
*participants flying from North America are responsible for any domestic travel to JFK*
All other departure flights will be booked on an individual basis once application is submitted.

When arriving to the payment section of the application, only select(add) the flight subsidy option if you plan to take the group flight from New York.
Only participants flying from USA/Canada should select the flight subsidy option on the application.
Everyone else, please select the $50.00 option and we will follow up with next steps for payment and flights.

What to Expect...

During the days, you will volunteer for 4-6 hours. Whether its agricultural volunteering, packing food and supplies for displaced families, or rebuilding local community centers, your impact will be felt in communities across the country

Art & culture: gallery visits, studio meetups, graffiti tours, and beach moments.

Creative sessions: inspiring workshops led by top artists.

Nature & community: plant trees, pick fruit, and connect with the land.

Tel Aviv and Jerusalem immersion: major galleries, museums, studios, and street art.

Artist workshops: hands-on sessions to spark new ideas and collaborations.

Meaningful impact: nature activities and community connections that stay with you long after the trip.

Per Birthright Israel Volunteer guidelines, all volunteer programs kindly request participants to prepare a $50 tip, which will be collected for our amazing Tour Educators!

Meet Your Trip Leader: Alejandro Glatt
First Mexican artist to send a Papaya to the moon!

Alejandro Glatt is a Mexican-Jewish multidisciplinary artist, known for merging Jewish identity, contemporary culture, and collective creativity. He became the first Mexican Jewish artist to send a papaya to the Moon in 2024, and in 2026 he will send the first Mezuzah to the Moon as part of a new space-art mission.
He has exhibited in 37+ countries, including presenting work at the Louvre Museum in Paris, and is dedicated to building global artistic experiences that celebrate Jewish creativity.
This is a Birthright Israel volunteer trip organized by Yael Adventures in partnership with Alejandro Glatt.
