Alejandro Glatt is a Mexican-Jewish multidisciplinary artist, known for merging Jewish identity, contemporary culture, and collective creativity. He became the first Mexican Jewish artist to send a papaya to the Moon in 2024, and in 2026 he will send the first Mezuzah to the Moon as part of a new space-art mission.
He has exhibited in 37+ countries, including presenting work at the Louvre Museum in Paris, and is dedicated to building global artistic experiences that celebrate Jewish creativity.

Here's what you can expect on this trip:
During the days, you will volunteer for 4-6 hours. Whether its agricultural volunteering, packing food and supplies for displaced families, or rebuilding local community centers, your impact will be felt in communities across the country. In the afternoons & evenings, you will spend your time exploring the vibrant food scene in Tel Aviv, tasting the best local food Israel has to offer.

$50 Birthright Israel Application Fee + $550 Flight Subsidy (Due with Application Submission)

$520-1,160 Additional Activities/Room Upgrades (Due Once Officially Accepted)
If you are coming from somewhere else in the U.S., you are responsible for paying for your own domestic flights (and ensuring that it arrives in time to make the group flight). This trip is available for Jewish adults ages 26-50.
Tour Educator Gratuity
Per Birthright Israel Volunteer guidelines, all volunteer programs kindly request participants to prepare a $50 tip, which will be collected for our amazing Tour Educators!

*The ages may appear different on the application but you can proceed as long as you are between the ages of 22-50.

*Please note that selecting the $50 payment on the application means you have selected to book your own flights to/from Israel. If you plan to join the group flight, please pay the full $600.
